We love our archipelago and our eight seasons and have therefore created different experiences & packages, where together we can experience the best of the archipelago and our seasons. Archipelago house with its own beach and harbor
Do you want to live in a luxurious archipelago house beautifully situated on the banks of the Kalix river, right where the river turns into an archipelago? A house with all amenities and nature and the archipelago just around the corner. The house is located in the Skärgårdsudden neighborhood, which we ourselves have exploited with the goal of creating a place where you can follow the changes of the seasons and enjoy the spectacle of nature. The neighborhood is located in the coastal village of Nyborg about 8 km from Kalix.
Light house – Our furnished boathouse
Down on the private pier we have a furnished boathouse, which we call Light House. It is heated with an element or with the wood stove. It is furnished with a sofa bed that is laid out and provides space for 2 people. Large windows facing the water and it feels like waking up on a houseboat.
The large bridge of 200 sqm is a perfect place to eat and socialize. Or fish directly from the pier!

Have you ever felt that you just wanted to get away from it all? From life, everyday life, work and stress? Just take your favorite people to a completely different world, far away from the ordinary. To go back to basic, back to nature – peel away everything that is not important. Land in the “here and now”. For real. This is what we want to give you and yours out in Skärgårdsstugan on Getskär – 20 km out from the mainland.
The changing of the seasons on Getskär
To experience our cottage out on Getskär in the best way, you need to understand that you will experience completely different things depending on the season you visit the island. Summer is enjoyable for most people and does not make any direct demands on survival skills in nature, while spring is a perfect time to experience a little Robinson feeling on the island. Autumn is the best time for those who want to enjoy the archipelago’s pantry with usually sunny days and cozy dark evenings in the cottage.

Trips to Getskär
Nature controls our life in the archipelago and for an island as far out as Getskär, this means that we do not have an exact tour schedule in all seasons. In the spring and winter in March and April, the ice usually lies and then we drive you out with a scooter and sled. After the due date and the ice discharge period in May, we start up our boat traffic to the island, which is regular during the summer months. In the autumn, the tours can be booked until the month of November and are adapted to our bookings on the island as well as the forces of nature with weather and wind. Getskär is located about 20 km out from the mainland. In connection with you booking the cottage, you also book transport to the island. In the summer we drive you out by boat and in winter by scooter and sled. The trip out to the island is an experience in itself and you have time to see a lot of our archipelago on the way out.
Survival course with us
Are you curious about life far away from stress and nature? Then we can help you with the knowledge you and your loved ones need to cope with you out in the archipelago. We teach you to chop wood, to make fire in different situations, fetch water from the ice, cook, fish, find food usefulness in nature, what you can and may do and maybe what not to do – to read nature on nature’s terms . Living off and in nature for a while, gives you and your loved ones an opportunity to stop and take advantage of the time – time together.
